Why adapters rather than direct calls
It is not architectural preference — it is what lets you keep your own vendor relationships.
If your organisation already has a satellite imagery contract or a corporate email provider, the platform uses it rather than requiring you to buy ours alongside.
A provider that is not listed can usually be added, because the adapter interface is designed for a real vendor to implement rather than shaped around one we happened to pick first. Ask us.
