General
What this is, and who it is for.
- What does EcoAttest actually do?
- It runs environmental CSR projects end to end: plan projects and map plantation sites, capture geo-tagged field evidence, verify it against the site boundary, measure what survived, and produce reporting a corporate sponsor can rely on.
- Who is it for?
- NGOs delivering plantation and restoration projects, and the corporate CSR and ESG teams funding them.
Security
Isolation, approval and the audit trail.
- How is one organisation's data kept separate from another's?
- Tenant isolation is enforced at several layers: a request-scoped tenant context, repositories that inject the tenant filter automatically, and Postgres row-level security as a backstop underneath both.
- Can somebody approve their own field evidence?
- No. Separation of duties is enforced in the domain, not in a query — the person who submitted a visit cannot be the one who approves it.
- Is there an audit trail?
- Yes. Every change records who made it, when, what it was before and after, and the originating address. The log is append-only.
Pricing
Limits, plan changes, and what stays yours.
- What happens when I reach a plan limit?
- The platform refuses the action that would exceed it and tells you which plan raises it. Existing projects, sites and evidence are never touched.
- Can I change plan later?
- Yes, at any time, in either direction. Your data, evidence and reports are unaffected.
Reporting
What a sponsor receives, and where the figures come from.
- Can a sponsor verify a report is genuine?
- Each report carries a QR code that resolves to a verification page confirming it was issued by the platform and has not been altered.
- Where do carbon figures come from?
- Species factors applied to verified tree counts — trees actually counted on an approved visit, not pledged ones. Figures are estimates and are labelled as such; they are not certified carbon credits.
